A global company in sanitaryware products wanted to draw up their medium-term strategy taking various areas into consideration. A six month engagement with the leadership team across their business verticals and functional verticals was undertaken, and the leaders were coached to reflect on the challenges and opportunities. An in-depth view of the competitive environment was also mapped with the active engagement of the team. A three-year strategic intent document was drawn up which formed the basis of the annual business plan of the company. The CEO communicated at length to his employees and also the channel partners. They appreciated the first-of-its-kind initiative in the marketplace. The company emerged stronger and is seen winning at the marketplace even during the year of the pandemic.
