Due Diligence

A joint venture in the auto component industry was running into a difficult situation as they worked to fulfill a major OEM expectation. They were at crossroads to take a critical decision: the root cause for the situation was not clear or resolvable despite multiple attempts. The company unfortunately lost some senior resources in the process. A focused due diligence was conducted in a non-confrontational setting with the full trust of the stakeholders. The strategy was to get a 360 degree view of the issue, in order to reflect on the full set of problems. The recommendation was stage-gated in a practical manner to the satisfaction of the promoter and the OEM customer.
